Ingredients
1 Cup Raw Honey
2 Tablespoons Coconut Milk
1ml Lemon Essential Oil
1ml Lavender Oil
2ml Jojoba Oil
Preparation
Measure out the honey and place it in a double boiler. DO NOT LET THE HONEY BOIL. You just want to stir gently on a low heat until the honey has a less sticker consistency.
Once the honey has heated through, remove from heat and add two (2) tablespoons of milk. Mix gently until honey and milk are combined.
Add Oils, mixing in between eat and ensuring they are completerly incorporated into the mix before adding the next.
Instructions of Use
Before putting your feet in the mixture, ensure you have a bowl large enough to submerge the bottom of your feet, up to the arch of your foot to ensure all dry parts of your skin is submerged.
Make sure your feet are well washed and dried.
It is best to use a scrub or a pumice stone to remove any dead skin before soaking your feet.
It is a good idea to soak your feet close to a shower or bath, as you don't want to walk around your house with honey covered feet when you need to rinse it off.
Once washed and dried gently, submerge your feet into the mixture for up to an hour, but minimum 15 minutes. You want to give your feet ample time to soak up ther benefits from these ingredients.
Once your have finished your soak, you want to gently massage the mixture into your feet, massaging for about one minute each foot.
Once you have massaged your feet - which will help increase blood flow to your feet, which in turn can promote healing - gently rinse off with warm water. Do not use hot water! I know a lot of us enjoy showers as hot as possible, but we want to soothe your feet with warm water. Hot water can dry our skin out more.
You don't need to wash with any soaps, as we are simply trying to rinse off the excess product. You don't want to scrub and wash away all the oils that your skin is trying to soak in.
Gently dry your feet. Try to just dab your feet dry, no rough scrubbing actions.
Apply a heel balm or moisturiser of your choice. Try to find something with Urea in it, as Urea is an excellent solution for cracked heels.
Petroleum Jelly or any heavy oil based cream should be an appropriate substitute if you don't have any heel balms available.
