About Kindred Stories

Hi, My name is Kiana,

I tend to go by Kindred on a lot of my social media, mainly because I am not just one person.
I am apart of a DID system. I wanted to use this blog to not only express myself and my system, but to educate others, and share how difficult it can be to live with such debilitating conditions.
Each of my alternate personalities will be given the chance to write about themselves at one point or another, but for now, it's just me. I sign any of my blog posts as Raven, as that is my name in the inner world.
If you would like to learn more about Dissociative Identity Disorder, and how I get by on the daily, stick around, have a read, and get to know us.

I have been diagnosed with
- Dissociative Identity Disorder
- Complex PTSD
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Chronic Fatique
- Anxiety
- Depression
There is also the potential for me to have
- Bipolar Disorder
- ASD
- OCD tendancies
Follow me on my journey of healing, self descovery, self love and hopefully, I can teach you a thing or two along the way.

Illyria, My Fluffy Hero
I have a dog named Illyria who is now 13 years old. She has helped me so much over her life, and helped me with nightmares, seizures, panic attacks and triggers caused by Complex PTSD. She spends many days cuddled up to me, and is quick to alert my family when something isnt right with me.
She was not trained to do this. She learnt all this herself, with little encouragement from us, as she was meant to be a family pet, but she quickly bonded to me and now helps me within my home.
Illyria has recently began losing strength in her back legs, and in the last 18 months has been losing more and more mobility. She still has days where she is her usual self, and enjoys getting up to mischief, but she struggles on cold days, where her muscles lock up.
Because of this, under advisment from my therapist, my doctor, and under a lot of discussions with my family, I am saving up for an assistance dog. Every fortnite I put money aside out of my own pocket, and I use money that I get from my online store, towards saving up for an assistance dog. I am hoping to save up to $10,000 before adopting, to ensure I have enough money to afford adoption fees, veterinary treatments, vaccinations, and training.
Any support would be appreciated, more than you know, and I will be using this blog to keep everyone updated on both Illyrias status, and the status of a prospect puppy!
